I married the bad boy from Brooklyn. And I don’t know how to survive this.
This is my first book from this author and after seeing lots of positive feedback on social media about the author I thought I’d try this book.
I loved the premise of the book and I will be totally honest to the fact that I did struggle to get into this book. Once I passed the 50% mark things did start to flow for me and let me just say that this is my personal opinion and I felt that perhaps the fact that the book is very doom and gloom as these characters are trying to save their marriage, just didn’t give me the life I needed to gel with the characters in the first instance.
The latter half of the book had me hooked, especially as the reader gets to the crux of the problem and the angst builds and the fact that the characters are so in love with each other that they are just stuck in a massive rut not knowing what to do.
I would recommend this book to a reader who is a fan of the slow build, books with a good dose of reality and who wants that something different. This book isn’t hearts and flowers by any stretch of the imagination and you are left needing the next book.
Willow Winters is so happy to be a USA Today, Wall Street Journal and #1 Contemporary Bestselling Romance Author. She likes her action hot and her bad boys hotter. She certainly doesn’t hold back on either one in her writing!Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
